SMT Assembly
At Texmate, we have modern manufacturing facilities and a team of skilled, ETITO-trained operators working to IPC610C standards.
As part of our commitment to high-quality SMT, we've recruited a Samsung certified SMT expert from overseas to operate our machinery. Our SMT machines have the ability to mount components as small as 0402" (1005mm), and are currently being upgraded to place 0201 components. BGA's from 42x42mm to 0603/1608 (1-1.5mm pitch).
On complex double sided and multi-layered boards, our unique glue-dispensing process enables thru-hole components to be wave soldered, saving time and money.
As part of our QC culture we verify all stages of the SMT process using magnifying cameras, resulting in a flawless SMT assembly.

Thru-hole Assembly
|
Thru-hole assembly is a very important part of most electronic products. In fact, it can and often does comprise the major proportion of the assembled cost of the product.
Understanding the importance of this, we make sure we use a core of skilled and competent operators. We also employ a process engineer to ensure that the processes used are efficient and are optimised to reduce human error. |

Mechanical Assembly
What sets us apart from our competition is our ability to assemble PCBs in their final consumer casings. This process can involve programming, mounting, crimping of cables and harnesses, and final consumer testing. By performing this complete process we save our customers valuable time and money, and also achieve greater continuity throughout the QC process.
Lead-free Assembly
If you are an exporter, then you can't ignore the global trend towards lead-free PCB assembly. This need not be a daunting process, but must begin at the PCB design stage. We've got the expertise to make this transition easy. Click here for more details.

What is the normal lead time for electronic assemblies?
Once we have all of your components, our standard turnaround time is 10 working days. |
| 2 - |
What is your manufacturing capacity?
Most of our run sizes are 100 to 10,000 units. For smaller volumes, refer to our prototype service. |
| 3 - |
Can you pre-form and cut thru-hole components?
Yes. We have EBSO machines to perform these tasks. |
| 4 - |
What board sizes you can process?
Up to 400W x 450L (SMT), 60-350 W (wave soldering) |

Most manufacturers only want to do complete assemblies. Do you mind doing partial assemblies?
We prefer to do full assembly, as we believe you'll get a better result. However, we understand that this is not an option for some companies, and we are happy to oblige. |

What packaging options do you have?
We use anti-static bubble wrap and anti-static bags. We can also custom design packaging for high-volume shipments. |
